More About Youth Circles
Youth Circles connect younger generations of singers in our local community with Kinship Singers and other community partners. These short-term opportunities include:
Networking time to build friendships and encourage collaboration
Variety of repertoire and singing styles
Musicianship lessons and coaching, grounded in concert repertoire
Song interpretation, staging, and movement
Solos and other musical leadership opportunities
Kinship Singers is a singing community, centered in Damascus, MD, that shares music of many styles and genres, including folk and sacred music from a variety of traditions. Kinship Singers is an SATB, non-auditioned ensemble that provides learning and performance opportunities for its membership and free concerts as a gift to the community. Kinship Singers is committed to representing the demographics of the local community in both membership and programming.
